A Day In The Life

Well, this is my first attempt at blogging. Not sure if there's much interest in the life of an "emptynester", but occasionally I feel the need to share my random thoughts. Glenn and I are blessed to be the parents of two wonderful daughters. They are both married to great guys. We are grandparents to Evan, Charlotte and Graham. I'm sure you will be reading all about their escapades! We are both native Texans, and we currently reside in Spring, Texas.


Thought for the day: When the base of your martini glass reaches your sternum when you are sipping your drink, it's time to buy smaller martini glasses. Seriously, have you noticed that wine and martini glasses have been super-sized over the past 10 years? And I thought it was just plates! I swear a goldfish could survive in our martini glasses, sans the vodka/gin.


I'll post some pics soon, but I promise you won't be reading about Angelina, Brad, Miley or Lindsay on this blog - unless, of course, we have another grandchild with the same name.
